Body Image Therapy

whatever the shape or size of your body, it is deserving of the upmost respect and care in the therapeutic relationship.

Our bodies are the tool we have to navigate our lives. Unfortunately, society dictates that we must conform to many ever-changing and unrealistic beauty and body standards. These can have a very negative impact on our body image & our mental health.

Often clients believe that their bodies are the problem, but I’m here to show you that you were NEVER the problem and to help you build a kinder relationship towards food and your body.

I completed my MSc Research Dissertation on Body Image & am extremely passionate about helping clients repair their relationship to their body, including how this shows up in their relationship to eating & food.

I wanted to share my ethics related to body image and body diversity with you here, so you can be reassured your body is welcome and safe in my therapy room. I am a HAES aligned, anti-diet practitioner.

If you have any queries, please get in touch directly and I will do my best to answer them. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the terms used on this page, the below links provide further information.
